Burhan (Hakla) to Dera Ismail Khan (Yarik) Motorway CPEC Western Route Approved By CDWP

Islamabad (Thursday, March 31, 2016) – Yesterday Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved the most important section of western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This section will link M1 Motorway with Dera Ismail Khan via Fatehjang, Pindigheb, Tarap, Daudkhel, Mianwali, Isa Khel, Kundal, Rehmani Khel, Abdul Khel and Paniala.

Total length

This will be 4 way motorway/expressway. Its total length will be 285 Kilometers. It will start to be constructed on July 2016. This motorway will be completed on June 2018 in just years of the period.

Total Cost

Total Cost of this Buhan-Dera Ismail Khan CPEC Western Route will be  129 billion rupees. 14 billion rupees will be allocated for the land purchase for this motorway/expressway.
