Died at age of 64 years

Faisalabad (Friday, April 24, 2015) – Yesterday Former Federal State Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Retired Justice Lahore High Court, Member National Assembly (1988-1991) and central leader of Pakistan Peoples party (PPP) died in Faisalabad city. He was made Judge LHC in 1994. He was advocate by profession.

His Funeral Prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) held in last night in Al-Fateh Ground Saleemi Chowk, Peoples Colony Faisalabad. Large number of local political leaders and workers participated in Janaza. After this his “Mayyat” sent for burial in Bhakkar.

He conteste two time in 1988 and 1990 General Elections form Faisalabad City NA seats. In 1988 he wins after obtaining 54430 votes, While in 1990 election he lost his seat against IJI candidate Haji Muhammad Akram Ansari.

Mr. Ahmad Saeed Awan was loyal workers of Mrs. Benazir Bhutto and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He remain in Jail during General Zia-ul-Haq Martial Law and awarded punishment of “Koray” in Jhelum.
