Mazar Syed Pir Saeed Ahmad Shah Bukhari Mumtazabad Multan
There is a shrine of a saint near the graveyard of Mumtazabad Kachi Basti which had been built since long centuries. Up to half of a century this area was known by your name. Syed Saeed Ahmad Shah Bukhari opened his eyes in the Syed family of Hazrat Peer Ismail (RH) in the city of Ghazni of Afghanistan in 956 BC. You (RH) Byat on the hand of a spiritual follower Hazrat Baqi Billah (RH) and by their order you came to India and then near the place of Ram Teerath at Multan started the preaching of Islam.
Now a days this place is known as Iqbal Nagar, Chungi No.14. Your (RH) shrine mubarak is near central graveyard in the Mumtazabad colony.Earlier this shrine was in rough condition (kacha). Later the local people maintained it and made it with hard bricks. The follower Peer Naveed Fareed Chisti (RH) made it more beautiful with blue tiles (kashi work) and marble when he got good news (basharat) in his dream.
Before many decades here in Mumtazabad where this shrine is located now an incident is still well-known related to the separation of Bildozar parts into pieces during the construction of a road. The Hindus also tried to demolish this shrine with the help of hundreds of oxen but they left the place and diverted their route. Your (RH) Urs Mubarak is celebrated on the first Rajab of each Qamri year and recently in 2016 AD your 386th Urs Mubarak celebrated.
