PILDAT Quality of Democracy Survey – Nawaz Sharif Most Trusted Leader of Pakistan
Islamabad/Lahore (Tuesday, October 20, 2015) – Yesterday Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has released result of public opinion survey conducted in June of this year. According the report Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has emerged as most trusted leader of the country with approval rating of 75%. Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif remained at second position with approval rating of 72%, While Chairman PTI’s Mr. Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi stood at third position with approval rating of 49 percent. Co-Chairman of PPP, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari achieved 27percent approval rating in trusted leader of Pakistan.
Approval Rating of General Raheel Sharif remained 69 %, General Retired Pervaiz Musharraf at 51 % and Chief Justice (retired) Nasir ul Mulk at 42%.
This survey was conducted from June 2 to June 12, 2015. Total 3231 peoples (Male+Female) wee interviewed in this survey, Thus sample size remained 3231. Thirty Two (32) percent peoples were selected from urban areas and 68 percent from rural areas of Pakistan. Participation rate in four provinces were as follows:-
Punjab = 55 %
Sindh = 23 %
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa = 13 %
Balochistan = 9 %
