River Jhelum Flood Update 2015

Jhelum, Jhang (Monday, July 27th, 2015) – River Jhelum starts from Muzaffarabad Azad Jammu and Kashmir and terminated at Trimmu head Works in District Jhang. Jhelum river travels through Kohala, Mangla Dam and Rasul head works.

At Mangla dam the water of River Poonch also combine with the water of River Jhelum. At Mangla Cant it enters in Punjab province in Tehsil Dina District Jhelum. After passing through the District Mandi bahauddin, Rasool barrage, District sargodha, District Khoshab reached at Trimmu barrage in district Jhang.

Maximum Capacity :- Mangla = 10,60,000 Cusec, Rasul Head Works = 8,50,000 Cusec
